Patrick and I were out of town this past week enjoying Austin, Texas for a few days. It is nice to finally be home. Due to terrible weather in Atlanta we ended up spending three hours waiting on the plane before our flight took off and another hour and a half in a holding pattern before we could land just on the first flight. Our second flight was delayed and we didn’t get home until 3am this morning. Needless to say we are beat!

Aside from the bad return home situation, Austin was amazing! Granted it was a little warmer than needed, but what an awesome city and some of the nicest people.

On Monday, we arrived in Austin and drove around the city, followed by a jammed packed day of sightseeing Tuesday and a day of relaxing on Wednesday and the seminar I attended. I have to highly recommend taking a Segway tour the next time you are in a new city. Since, we were gone for Patrick’s birthday I wanted to do something really fun. The segway tour was just the ticket, we spent three hours traveling all over downtown Austin, visiting historical landmarks and local hotspots. I can’t wait to pick another city to visit and a segway tour to show us the sites.
