Last Friday, I had to the pleasure of speaking to about 100 students at a local highschool. My nerves were high, as I am more of a behind the scenes kinda gal. I love sharing about my photography experiences, the road might not always be smooth or the most traveled, but I love what I do.
While I had been preparing for the presentation for about two weeks, I knew I would be working on the slideshow and final details up until the very last minute.
I thought I would share the slideshow from the presentation!
Enjoy!

Following dinner we joined all of the guests for a cocktail party.

Check back tomorrow for the DAY AFTER session!
I can’t wait to trash my dress!!!
Hi Amanda. It was a pleasure meeting you and your father in Puerto Rico. The pictures you have published here on your site (Day after Jill and Marcus’ wedding) are fabulous! You have captured their personalities perfectly! Love the one of Jill and Marcus in the window of the old deserted building. What a fantastic idea! The shot from the “welcome party” is beautiful and takes me right back to that night. The colors just pop right out of the photo – I’m getting that one enlarged for our beach house – it’ll look great with my other “memory photos” on display.
You did a wonderful job with their engagement portfolio and I’m sure the wedding shots will be as good if not better. I have already shared these few photos with co-workers and friends and they all love them and are waiting to see more. Wonderful pictures – you’re great!
DeAnne (Jill’s mom)
Shared these with co-workers while over in the UK this week. They admired them all but really loved the one of Jill and Marcus in the window. They actually commented it looks like an album cover. Amanda, you are a very talented photographer. Can’t wait to see more!
A few weeks ago you came to Donegal High School. I really loved your presentation and had to look you up! I just love your photography and really love that you are in a career that you are not only good at, but enjoy doing. Thank you for doing the presentation. I already know from the other students you made a big impression and many have decided to go in the direction of photography or art as a career.
I will come back to your site often and hopefully will add you on facebook.
Thanks again
-Laila
