Gretchen and Tim were married at Historic Waynesborough on the most perfect overcast day. It really was a dream to photograph.  Gretchen looked stunning in a dress design by a Project Runway contestant, Carol Hannah.  I really felt that her dress complimented not only the entire look of the wedding, but her personality as well.  A heart felt ceremony preformed by a very good friend of theirs made the ceremony so intimate and beautiful.  Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn and dinner and dancing under the tent.  The band kept the party going all night.

The top image of Gretchen and Tim took my breath away!  It is one of my favorite images from the entire year! So classic and timeless

Happy Friday!

Amy and Marco’s wedding was truly spectacular.  Their ceremony took place that the Basilica of Peter and Paul in Philadelphia which I feel is an honor to photograph a wedding in.  When you stand inside the Basilica, there is just this overwhelming and magical feeling you get. During the ceremony Amy and Marco’s did a little surprise fist bump before taking their first kiss as husband and wife.  Following the ceremony we stopped by a few Philly landmarks before heading over to the Overbrook Golf Club which was so gorgeous.  A special thank you to Bekka of Innove Events for helping the day run so smoothly!

Enjoy!

Tech notes: The two black and white ceremony photographs we taken with a 400mm 2.8 lens!  If you have ever been inside the Basilica you know how large and grand it is.  I am blown away with how incredible the ceremony images are thanks to this lens and my amazing second shooter! It is my new go to lens for the ceremony!

My former office assistant Virginia got married a few weeks ago to her amazing fiance, Derek.  I could not be happier to be there to share in their wedding day and document it for them.

Emily and Brent are such a sweet couple.  When I first met them, we were under about 2 feet of snow and I had my fingers crossed that on their wedding day all of the snow would be melted and we would have the perfect spring weather.  Thankfully, all of the snow melted and the weather was in fact perfect.

As many of you know.. I am really partial to the Conewago Manor Inn as I was married there a few years ago.  So, going back to the property is always so much fun to capture my couples memories and also relive my own.  Emily and Brent were married in the lawn behind the house near the stream, guests wondered the grounds for cocktail hour and the reception was under the tent.  You couldn’t ask for more perfect day.

As most of the county is covered in a good 20 inches of snow, Emily, Brent and I ventured downtown and to county park for a quick engagement session.  The two of them were such troopers to brave the cold temps and winter winds for photos.
