Today, I experienced a Random Act of Kindness while at Starbucks. I had been dreaming of Starbucks since I woke up this morning and made myself finalize a few projects before my photo shoot this afternoon. I knew 2:00pm was approaching and gathered all of the items for my shoot and hit the road. My plan was to be to Starbucks by 2:30 – 2:45 and allow plenty of time for traffic and finalizing prepping for the shoot.
The line was long at the drive through and went it was my turn to order, I went with my usual, a grande iced chai with soy. I wanted a protein box, sold out! A mini red velvet whoppie pie, sold out! So, I went with the chai. As I pulled up to the window with cash in hand, the barista told me that the car in front of me had paid for my drink! HOW COOL is that! It seriously made my day! I knew that I had to Pay it Forward and take care of the car behind me.
Goodness still exists in our world today, sometimes all it takes is picking up the tab for a cup of joe to make someone else’s day.
